About Us
RiSA Audio Visual Licensing (RAV) is the licensing organization set up by The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) to administer the rights of its members for the broadcasting of music videos (broadcasters), and the dubbing and distribution right in sound recordings (RAV Rights).
We manage music video broadcasting rights and audio dubbing rights.
Who are our Members
We represent over 5000 artists and record companies who own sound recordings and music videos, which include, among others, Sony Music, Universal Music, Warner Music, David Gresham, Kalawa Jazzmee, Afrotainment, 999 Music, Gallo Records, Ambitiouz Entertainment, Family Tree Records, Rhythm Records and many other well-known record companies in South Africa, all of whom are entitled to be fairly paid for the use of their sound recording and music Video Broadcasting.
Through agreements with Music users, we are able to collect royalties for our members.

RAV is governed by a board in which Major record companies and Indies enjoy equal representation.
